Wolf Kohn, Director, Founder and Chief Scientist, Clearsight Systems

Russ Stockdale , President
Russ spent 11 years with Microsoft. As corporate vice president of Knowledge Worker Solutions Group, Stockdale was responsible for the successful merger of Great Plains Software Inc with Microsoft and the creation of the Microsoft Great Plains Division. Formerly he served as vice president of Microsoft’s Knowledge Worker Solution Group, responsible for marketing and strategic planning for Microsoft Exchange Server and other collaboration-focused products. Stockdale also led business development and marketing for Microsoft Internet Explorer targeting Internet Service Providers and Internet Content Providers. He began his Microsoft career on desktop operating systems where he managed end-user marketing for Windows 95, Windows 3.1 and MS-DOS. Russ was with Andersen Consulting for 5 years with his last position being consulting manager. He left Andersen to attend Wharton, where he received his MBA. Russ also has bachelor of science in industrial engineering from Stanford University.


Jonathan Roberts, Director
Mr. Roberts is a general partner and cofounder of Ignition. Before Ignition, he spent 13 years at Microsoft, most recently as the general manager of the Windows CE Intelligent Appliance division, where he was responsible for developing new Windows CE products, product marketing, business development, and long-term planning for the Windows CE platform, as well as the retargeting of Microsoft's Pocket PC effort.

Mr. Roberts led the marketing and business efforts for Windows 3.1 and 3.11, Windows NT 3.51 and 4.0, BackOffice 1.0, Windows 98, and all of Windows CE, including Embedded, Pocket PC, Phones, Set-Top, and so on. He has extensive experience with scenario-based product planning, as well as a keen understanding of the apps versus platform dynamic; integrator and channel experience; familiarity with the broader ecosystems involving Microsoft, SAP, Siebel, and others; extensive licensing experience; and, of course, a strong general marketing and business background.

Mr. Roberts received his bachelor's in history from the University of Washington.

Dan Rosen, Chairman
Dan Rosen is CEO and President of Dan Rosen & Associates (www.drosenassoc.com), an early-stage technology investment and advisory firm that specializes in category-defining technology companies in communications, wireless, and software.

In 2000, Dan was founding Managing Partner of Frazier Technology Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund in Seattle, where he stayed until 2006. From August 1997 through May 2000, he was General Manager of New Technology in Microsoft, where he was responsible for assessing Microsoft’s new technology needs and finding innovative ways to meet those needs through increasing internal research efforts, licensing, investment, or acquisition. In this role, Dan was also responsible for technology transfer into Microsoft’s product groups. Prior to that, Dan was General Manager for MSN with responsibility for transaction and services businesses, e-commerce, and alternate channels.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Dan was at AT&T for 15 years, where he served as Vice President and General Manager of AT&T Consumer Interactive Services, where he designed and implemented AT&T’s first consumer-oriented Internet service offering, and Managing Director for Northern & Eastern Europe.

Dan chairs Clearsight Systems, Neah Power Systems (NASDQ: NPWS.PK), and the Northwest Alliance of Angels. He sits on the boards of eCommerce Industries and the Technology Alliance. He was previously on the boards of UUNET (NASDQ: UUNT, until its acquisition by MFS), Open Port Technologies, Individual, Inc.(NASDQ: INDV), General Magic (NASDQ: GMGC), Web3000, and the Washington Software Association.

Dan has a B.A. in Biology from Brandeis University and a Ph.D in Biophysics from University of California, San Diego. He holds several patents in communications and Internet technologies.
